Frequently asked questions
How do I play samples with my computer keyboard?
Load audio files onto the pads (drop them all at once or click a pad to assign one), then hit the keys shown on each pad โ 1 through 4 on the top row, then QWER, ASDF, and ZXCV. On a phone, just tap the pads.
Can I record my pad performance?
Yes. Hit Record, play your take, hit Stop, and download it as a WAV file. The recording happens inside your browser โ nothing is sent anywhere.
What audio files work on the pads?
Short WAV, MP3, M4A, OGG, or FLAC one-shots work best โ drums, stabs, vocal chops. Long files load too, but pads are built for hits, not whole songs.
Why do my pads cut each other off?
By default each pad voice plays over the others (polyphonic). Toggle 'Choke' if you want new hits to cut the previous one โ handy for hi-hat patterns and chopped vocals.
